Critical Thinking

Critical thinking is at the forefront of learning, as it aids a student to reflect and understand their point of views. It helps them figure out how to make sense of the world based on personal observation and understanding.

Inquiry Based Learning

At  SKL our teaching methodology is integrated with Inquiry-based learning for primary students. This is an active learning approach that promotes students’ ability to ask questions, research, and explore new ideas.

CPA Method

We at SKL use CPA approach from early years till primary as it works brilliantly for young learners. The CPA method involves using actual objects for children to add, subtract, multiply or divide. It is three stage learning process where students learn through physical manipulation of concrete objects, followed by learning through pictorial representations of the concrete manipulations, and ending with solving problems using abstract notation

Project Based Learning

Project based learning includes students designing, developing and constructing hands on solution to a problem. The educational value of PBL is that it aims to build students’ creative capacity.

Professionally Trained Faculty

At the International School of Knowledge & Leadership, we provide a nurturing and safe atmosphere that allows our students to learn and grow, while developing those qualities that are necessary to build an excellent professional career. We have carefully selected our faculty who have excellent educational backgrounds and possess the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will help your child thrive.

Teacher Training

At International School of Knowledge & Leadership we have planned to train teachers through different workshop such as:

  • Lesson Planning
  • Teaching Strategies
  • Soft Skills
  • Curriculum Implementation
  • Classroom Management/ Time Management
  • Child Protection Policy etc

Child Protection Policy

We acknowledge the importance of providing a safe, caring and respectful learning environment. Promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility.

Pre-school Education

Pre-school Education is an integral part of child’s development. It is the first stage of organized education for children of age 3-6 years. Preschool education has a strong focus on cognitive, social-emotional and linguistic development. These areas of learning will prepare the child for primary education by enhancing their abilities and educating them on how to be successful learners.

  • Students develop best in creative environment that responds to their individual learning styles
  • We provide positive and healthy relationships to make students strong and creative –
  • We plan differentiated tasks for gifted students

Curriculum and Co-Curricular Activities

We at International School of Knowledge & Leadership design our Curriculum based on Single national curriculum (SNC) approved by PTCB, which is tailored to compete on international standards of education, skills and co-curricular activities. It comprises activity-based learning to make students inquisitive and independent learners.

Our co-curricular and extra-curricular activities focus on the academic and personality development of the student. We provide a fun way for students to learn through co and extracurricular activities. Trained physical education coaches at school encourage healthy competition between students. We have planned educational trips for students at different levels

Reading Programme

We at International School of Knowledge & Leadership have planned Reading Programme for students starting from Pre-Nursery to Primary School.  This programme will help students build the essential life skills like creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and social emotional learning. This programme is a part of their curriculum where students are going to be assessed on their reading skills on a daily basis through illustration, picture discussion, predicting, questioning technique, visualizing and organizing.
Jolly phonics for Early Years is a fun and child centered approach to teach literacy through synthetic phonics. With actions for each of the 42 letter sounds, themulti-sensory method is very motivating for children.
